History

Based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, CDH Associates was founded in 1986. We believe success is possible only through continual diligence, attention to detail, consistency and dependability.

On November 1, 2000, CDH Associates procured The Wilson-Beam and Company, a manufacturers representative company, established in 1977. This procurement allows CDH Associates to utilize more manpower and expertise in our ten state area.

Our approach is to assess the needs and goals of our manufacturers and to communicate their best interests to our customers, providing a high standard of service to optimize the opportunities in our markets.

Experience and knowledge of the markets we serve positions us to meet the challenges of today's ever-changing business environment. More than writing orders or setting shelves, CDH Associates is a powerful marketing and merchandising partner, maintaining a high profile for our manufacturers. We attempt to sell programs, not items, for development of the most effective "sell through" for our manufacturers.

We are a growth-oriented, professional sales and service organization. As we move forward, CDH Associates has positioned itself to be a leader in the marketplace for home centers and hardware distributors. Coupled with our disciplined management team and motivated associates… our goal is complete customer satisfaction.

Our company has been increasing the growth and sales of our manufacturers in today's marketplace through systematic and organized structure. We have accomplished this by recognizing our customers' needs and individual goals.

Our corporate strategy is clear: "To be the leading Manufacturers' Representative in the industry".

We believe in service after the sale.

In essence, we are a "Marketing Consultant" for our manufacturers, helping them understand our customers' wants and needs. We access selling opportunities for a category, line, or items...and establish a marketing system which coincides with and reinforces profitably the business philosophy of our customers. We attempt to be a sustaining resource for our customers whereby anyone feels free to contact us for any type information (product knowledge, competition, need for new product, ad ideas, etc.). We want to help whether we represent the manufacturer of inquiry or not.

CDH Associates creates lasting relationships with our manufacturers and customers. The stewardship and growth of these relationships is, first and last, our company's bottom line.
